Snarky Kit of April by Martha Lucia

Hello crafty friends, Martha Lucia here with you! Today I’m sharing a Queen Card. This month the design is the Horizontal Center Step Card and today I am featuring Card Kit # 4, the snarky kit.

I used the card base as a mat and covered the different panels with Rinea Copper/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper. I embossed the entire layer with the Regency Swirls 3D Embossing Folder from Gemini by Crafters Companion and then, cut each panel. Additionally, I pasted each paper to the card base with E-Z Adhesive Runner and let it aside for a while.

In a separate piece of White Smooth Card Stock, I stamped the crown included on the card kit 4 and the large sentiment. Then, I colored the crown with Classique Markers from Spectrum Noir and fussy cut it with scissors. Additionally, I resized the sentiment with one of the Embossed Edge Oval Dies. Then with the next large size of the Nesting Oval Infinity Dies, I created a red mat for the sentiment. Also, using the same red card stock and one of the Deco Strips Dies from 88andClear (before RG Avenue), I die cut a border to connect the lower part of the card and make it more interesting.

I arranged all the pieces with crafty foam tape to give more dimension to the card. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Center Step Card Kit by Maria Pilar

Hello there! Maria Pilar here sharing my first card with the new Card Kits for April which are on sale.

The base of this card kit is from The Paper Cut and together with Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps, we are offering two different kits every month.
I used today the Card Kit 4 which comes with 2 stamps and 5 pre-scored and cut center-fold step cards. They are very easy and fun to decorate.
I related the saying of the queen to all those women who have fought against the coronavirus and are controlling it. She is going this shit handled! Therefore, after stamping the message and decorating it with a die before gluing the crown with double-sided foam tape, I cut out and pasted some small covid-19 on the sides of the card.

These are the stamps I used

Thanks for stopping by and have a nice weekend!

Strong Women Mom To Be Card

Happy Thursday! Today I'm creating a card for an expecting mother using the Mother to Be image paired with the Strong Women sentiment which is part of the Card Kit 3.

I clear heat embossed both the Mother to Be image with the Strong Women sentiment over a background I had made using Shimmerz Sprays. I love this sentiment which is perfect for so many occasions.

I added some clear sequins to finish off my card.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful rest of your week.

Easter Card Using One Our New Card Kits

Hi Everybody,

Cornelia here today. Some of the products I have used have been provided to me by various companies I design for. Affiliate links may be used in the links provided below.

I know, it's kind of late for an Easter card, but I wanted to use that chicken named Henrietta. Besides that, you can use chicken for more than just Easter anyhow .....if you need ideas, go and check out Pinterest. A never-ending source of inspiration.....

The folded card is from the new Card Kits

. I must say, I really love this one! I added strips of patterned paper to the sides (the paper is ancient and from my stash). I colored Henrietta with water brush pens and used die cuts to cut her out. Added the Happy Easter sentiment and that's that. Super easy!
Here are the new card kits:

Next time I show you the folded card with the new stamps.

I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting!

Happy Stamping!

3 Butterflies 2 Cards: Part 2

Hello crafty friends! Tracy here, and today I am sharing Part 2 of my 3 Butterflies 2 Cards series. Below you'll see both cards and you can read more about the first card I shared HERE. Then, the details on how I created my second card.

Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps Used:
Monarch Butterfly

Other Products Used:
Zig Clean Color Markers, Waterbrush, Staz On Ink- Jet Black, Enamel Dots, Embossing Pad, White Embossing Powder, Cardstock (White, Black)

I started my card creating a white A2 card base. Then cut a piece of black cardstock to 4x5.25. I freehand cut the wave. Then matted that edge with white cardstock. Adhere the larger piece of black cardstock to the card base. Add the sentiment to the smaller piece using an embossing pad and white embossing powder.

Add the sentiment piece to the card using foam tape. I added the coordinating enamel dots to this piece as well.

I added colour to the butterflies using Zig Clean Color Markers and a waterbrush. Then in the previous tutorial for the first card, I cut all of the butterflies in half. I used the right hand wings on the first card, and the left hand wings for this card.

I shaped the butterfly wings with my fingers slightly. Then adhered the wings along the curved edge using adhesive dots.
