Sassy Sweethearts Valentine's Day Cards

Hello everyone, Shanna here today with a fun Valentine-y slimline card featuring some brand new stamps from Crackerbox Stamps this month!!  YAY!

I Copic-colored each of the Candy Hears and then mix and matched some of the sayings from the three different sets to create the panel. After that, I mounted it onto a pretty foiled scrap of cardstock I had in my drawer for a little shimmer! I love how easy this card came together! The different sayings can work for anyone! From a sweet kid's valentine to a snark-filled Bestie's!

Sweet Valentine Cards by Martha Lucia

Hi friends, Martha Lucia here. Today I have some cards created with the new Valentine Stamps from Crackerbox. This mini-release just arrived in the store and includes images and sentiments!!! And of course discounts!!!

This card features the Candy Heart Open, Candy Heart Snark, Candy Heart Sassy, and Candy Heart Sweet. The first stamp is simply the heart image, the next three are set of sentiments that can be stamped inside of the heart.
I stamped mine onto white smooth card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Then, I colored each with Illustrator Markers from Spectrum Noir using red and pink tones to create different shades. Additionally, I fussy cut each heart with scissors and left the hearts aside for a while.
To make my card more attractive, I die-cut a second layer with the large size of the Zig Zag Rectangle Dies. I decorated this layer with the Frostbite Stencil using the same color of ink as the cardstock. I love this tone to tone effect with this beautiful stencil. In addition, I splattered the entire layer with white paint and Fireworks Tuxedo Black.

My second card is a snarky valentine card that features a new valentine sentiment in combination with an "old" stamp. On this card, I am using the All You Need In World Sentiment and the Caterpillars.

To make this card, first, I stamped the All You Need in World onto white smooth card stock. Then, I die cut a window onto the second layer of designer paper. To cut the window, I used one of the dies included on the Cloud Nested Label Dies.  I continue the process pasting first the stamped sentiment and then, the designer paper layer.

As a final touch, I just add some caterpillars that I stamped onto white smooth card stock and colored with TriBlend Markers from Spectrum Noir.

If you want to see more details, colors, and products that I used to create my cards you can find them all HERE in my STAMPARTPAPEL BLOG

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Shopping!!!

Then in the center of the card, I stamped the Don't Love You Stamp with VersaMark ink and also heat embossed it with gold embossing powder.

Dramatic Snarky Card

I hope you are all having a wonderful January! Ericka here, and I have a fun snarky card I made for a friend.  I love all the snarky sentiments Crackerbox Stamps offers and this one is no exception.

I started with a background I had previously made using watercolor powders on photo paper. I love the bright dramatic look you get with the photo paper after spraying the powders with some water. Once my background was dry, I used Archival Ink to stamp the Floral Lady and the awesome Making Fun of Someone sentiment.

I added a white gel pen to the Floral Lady (don't you just love her dress) as well as the Making Fun of Someone sentiment to help it stand out from the background.

This was such a fun and easy card to make and perfect for a friend who needs a little snark in their life. Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful week!

Hello Gorgeous Elegant Card

Hello everyone!  Marcia on the Crackerbox Stamps blog today sharing a very feminine card with lots of vintage flairs. I recently bought this gorgeous stamp and thought of so many ways to use it. The image would be gorgeous on bridal cards as well, embossed in white.

Supplies used:
Black Slinky Dress
Hello Gorgeous

I began with a trimmed vintage book page. I added a thin layer of white acrylic paint to soften the text in the background. I didn't realize that the black ink used for the dress wouldn't stamp properly atop the acrylic paint (oops!) so I used a black brush marker to darken around the edges and smoothed the image with a damp paintbrush. I share my boo-boo because, well, we all make them. But it still worked out! I considered pulling out my Stazon black ink but I'm happy with the outcome. I think it lends a softer more vintage feel to the overall project as well. I stamped the sentiment onto a scrap of book page (without text) and matted it with gold foil paper as I did the front panel. To finish, I added a few clipart ephemera in pinks to up the feminine feel and break up the colors a bit. I really love how it came together.  (Link to digital ephemera on my blog HERE.)

Fairy Happy Dust Card

Hello, Nadine here today with a fun fairy happy dust card.

I used the Fairy with Attitude Card and colored her in with Copic Markers. For her wings, I used a VersaMark marker and then heat embossed them with some sparkle embossing powder and then fussy cut her out. I used and cut out the Fairy Dust Bag and added some sparkle embossing powder to it too.
On my card front using the edge of a piece of paper to create a mask, I ink blended on some blue ink towards the bottom of the card to create a floor for the fairy. Then I adhered her and the fairy dust to the front of my card.

Then I stamped the Happy Dust sentiment and heat embossed it with the same sparkle embossing powder and added a little bit of glitter around it.

Snowflakes and Friends Winter Card

Hello and welcome!  This is Shanna from Caffeinated Craftiness here today with a fun and easy card project! January is full of chilly mornings and playdates in the snow....So I decided to pay tribute with this snowman card!

I grabbed the Snowman and Bird stamp that was released in December and had fun creating this simple a2 card!  I colored the image in with my Copic Markers and then fussy cut him out.  Next, I dry embossed a white card panel using a 3d tree embossing folder I had in my stash.  I adhered the white panel to an A2 card base.  To help ground the image some, I grabbed a scrap of navy cardstock and used a glitter paste and snow stencil to add some glitz and dimension.  I mounted the snowman onto the navy strip after it was dry and then glued it to the tree panel.

For my sentiment I die cut a circle, then stamped the sentiment, Friends are Flakes, off-center on the circle, so I could trip the top and side off to line up with the card!

Are you all done with your winter crafting and starting on spring cards??  Or are you like me and doing a bit of both still?

Hi Everybody! Cornelia here today. I made this card with some of the older stamps from Crackerbox Stamps.

It is a very simple card. I stamped the Beer Mug repeatedly with my Misti onto the background. Stamped it again twice onto scrap paper and colored it with Copics. Fuzzy cut it. Stamped the sentiment onto a square piece of white card stock. Mounted the colored mugs with foam tape.

Sweet Valentine Card by Martha Lucia

Hello crafty friends, Martha Lucia here. After a few weeks of "obligated vacations", I have the pleasure to share with you a sweet valentine's card created with the Candies stamp and the Everything You Mean Sentiment.

I love chocolates and Valentine is the perfect day to give and receive them. This version of chocolates called Candies from Crackerbox is perfect for coloring and creating a card.

My entire card is made with White Smooth card stock. First, I stenciled the card base with the Argyle Heart Stencil and Antique Linen Distress Ink. I left the piece aside for a while.

I die cut the second layer using one of the Cloud Nested Label Dies. I stamped the Everything You Mean sentiment on the lower part using Icing on the Cake Ink by Catherine Pooler. Additionally, I inked the center of the card with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink.

In a separate piece of White Smooth Card Stock, I stamped the Candies stamp with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Then, I colored the chocolates with a mix of TriBlend Markers and Illustrator Markers from Spectrum Noir. Additionally, I fussy cut the chocolates with scissors.

The chocolates included on the Candies Stamp are also sold individually in the Crackerbox Store. They are Chocolate Strawberry, Candy Round, and Candy Square.
To finalize the card, I pasted the chocolates over the inked area with 3D Square Foam Tape. And added a few rhinestones and a red heart to make my card more special.

If you want to see all the products that I used to create my Sweet Valentine Card, you can find them listed HERE on my Stampartpapel Blog.

Never Faked A Sarcasm Card

Hello everyone!  Marcia on the Crackerbox Stamps blog today sharing this super funny CAS (clean and simple) card. I love the mixing of unexpected images and sentiments and I think this pairing is great. (LOL)

Supplies used:
Sea Breeze
Faked A Sarcasm

I stamped the image with grey dye-based ink onto my card base and then ink blended the space within the image, using paper scraps to mask the image. (I just used whatever residual ink was on my colored brushes in yellow, orange, pink, and light blue.) Lastly, I stamped the sentiment in VersaFine Clair Nocturne black ink. I considered adding a few embellishments but I was drawn to the simplicity of it as is.  The image is so serene and then the sentiment makes you giggle.
