Minion Christmas Slimline Card

Hey, everyone! Nadine here today with a festive Minion Christmas slimline card.

I first stamped the Minion Carl Being Happy Stamp and masked off the top of his head when inking but left his hand out so it still stamped out. I then stamped Carl on some masking paper fussy cut it out and stuck it to the stamped image. Next, I stamped the Santa's Hat over the masked Carl. I love the Santa's Hat because you can take almost any of the stamp characters and make it Christmasy.
Then I fussy cut the stamped image out and colored it with Copic Markers. Added some Glossy Accents to the goggles and Snow-Tex to the white of the hat.

I then stamped some of the ornaments from Grinch Hand Set of 5 and fussy cut them out and colored them with Copics and added glossy accents.

On the background of the card, I used a large tree die and airbrushed it with different color Copic markers. and splattered it with metallic gold, red and white paints. Then on the top of the card, I stamped the sentiment 'tis the Season.

I hope I inspired you to give it a try.

Winter Snarky Card by Martha Lucia

Hello friends, Martha Lucia here! It's December and today I have a winter stamped and snarky card. Well honestly winter it’s not yet but all of us are prepared to receive it.

First, I stamped the Chuck the Squirrel and the Winter Sucks Sentiment onto smooth white cardstock. Then on a separate piece of cardstock, I stamped the Acorns. I used the images included on the Chuck the Squirrel Set of 3. These images are also available individually.

I colored the Chuck the Squirrel with Illustrator Markers also from Spectrum Noir. The colors that I used were TN2, TN3, TN4, EB6, and FS6.

To continue with the card, I colored the Acorns with TriBlend Brush Marker from Spectrum Noir. The colors that I used were Yellow Green Blend and Alpine Green Blend, Additionally, I fussy cut them with scissors and left them aside for a while. With a stencil and Pumice Harmony Water Reactive Ink, I created the background around the colored images.

I hope you like my Winter Stamped Card. Remember that Crackerbox is offering FREE SHIPPING in all orders over $45 to US and over $65 to Canada.
And if you want to see all the colors of markers and special details about my card, you can find them HERE in my Stampartpapel Blog.

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas!

Hello! Thanks for stopping by!  This is Shanna today with Caffeinated Craftiness with a super fun interactive card featuring stamps from Crackerbox Stamps.

There are many iconic Christmas movies.....Some of my favorites are Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Home Alone, and of course.... A Christmas Story!

When I saw these stamps being released from Crackerbox Stamps I *knew* I needed to make this card!  I don't play with the light kits much, but when inspiration strikes---well I had to.

I used the Leg Lamp and Leg Lamp Sayings set to create this fun slimline card.  You can also find all 3 stamps together in one bundle as well with the Set of 3.

I started the card with a Kraft slimline panel and put my MISTI to work with the repeated stamping of Fra-Gee-Lay over the entire panel.  I stamped the Leg Lamp and Sentiment on the same color Kraft cardstock and cut the sentiment out and set it aside.  I colored the Leg Lamp with colored pencils.  I love how much depth an image gets by coloring on Kraft---so cool!  I fussy cut the lamp out and then started mapping out the light placement,

Light kits for cards are not new, a simple google search will round up some choices for sure---even DIY options are shown on YouTube... Really, this card still would be great without the lights too---Up to YOU!  I have some more info on my blog if you are interested as well.

After I mapped out the placement, I added the lights to my card base (also Kraft) and thence a small hole in my stamped panel where the lampshade was placed.  I chose to die cut a vellum circle to place under my lamp to make it stand out a bit against the busy background.  I adhered the stamped panel with foam tape, then added the lamp onto the vellum circle with foam tape as well.

The sentiment was added towards the bottom of the card, and a "push button" was added over the spot where you need to push to turn on the light.  I absolutely LOVE the end result---don't you??

That wraps up my post today, see you all again soon!

Merry Grinchmas Card

Hi Everybody! Cornelia here today. I made this with one of the new November card kits from Crackerbox Stamps.

I made a very simple card. Stamped the bauble and added the Grinch face. Added the sentiment (Merry Grinchmas) to the card and colored the bauble. Trimmed it and added patterned paper to the bottom.

Here are the two card kits - kit 17 and kit 18.

I used the stamps from kit #18.

Merry Grinch-mas Christmas Card

Hello! Nadine here with a fun Grinch-mas Christmas card.

I started with a Bib Overlay Card and on the red bib part, I randomly stamped the Medium Snowflakes with white ink. Then I stamped the Grinch Image and colored him in with Copic Markers.

On the circle tab of the card, I stamped the Grinch Mas stamp in black ink and heat embossed it with sparkle embossing powder.

Crackerbox Stamps has several Grinch type stamps so make sure to check them all out.

I hope I inspired you to give it a try.

Grinch Christmas Ornaments

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Ericka here, and today I am sharing a couple of Christmas ornaments I made using several of the Grinch stamps.

I had these wood rounds in my stash from last year and thought it would be fun to make some Grinch ornaments. I started using a layer of white gesso on the rounds and then stamped the Grinch and Grinch Face of them using Archival Ink.

I then painted them up with some acrylic paint and retraced the lines using a black permanent pen. I wanted to add some more fun to them so used a layer of Multi Medium Gloss and added some WOW! glitter to them.

Once dry, I added another layer of the Multi Medium Gloss to the ornament to seal it. When the front was completely dry, I stamped the Grinch mas sentiment on the back and heat embossed it with green sparkle embossing powder.

I love these fun ornaments and can't wait to get them up on my tree.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful week.

Grateful For My Friends Cards

Happy Thanksgiving! It's Marcia on the Crackerbox Stamps blog today with a pair of silly cards. On this day of thanks, I wanted to share a snarky twist on sharing gratitude. Our friends deserve to know how much they mean to us and what better way than with a laugh.

Supplies used:
Psycho Hyena Critter
Girl Friends
Grateful For Crazy
Layered Cards

I colored the Psycho Hyena Critter with colored pencils on kraft and layered the tropical leaves in funky prints around him and the sentiment. Googly eyes once again to make it that much sillier. For the Girl Friends, I watercolored the image and distressed the edges, giving it a worn-in feel. Instead of using the Layered Cards as intended, I layered the panels in a different fashion, throwing in a couple strips of fabric. I elected to only use the first sentence from the sentiment Grateful For Crazy. The final sentence could easily be added inside before sending.

A Grinch-y Christmas Card

Hello!  This is Shanna from Caffeinated Craftiness here today with another fun card featuring one of this month's card kits from Crackerbox Stamps.  Who else LOVES the Grinch?  He is nearly as iconic as Santa in my house.  Card Kit 18 features an array of fun and "Grinch-y" stamps!  The fun fold base is also a lot of fun to play with as well!

My card was a cinch to put together, considering all the math is done already for the base! I used black ink and stamped the ornament all over the red piece of cardstock included in the kits. Then I stamped the Grinch hand on white cardstock with a light ink for no line coloring. I hadn't done this technique in a while--I forgot how much I LOVE it! My Copic markers brought the hand to life, but to add something special I decided to heat emboss the hand onto green foil cardstock and then a paper piece to complete the image! I did the same with the grinch face, and then used a circle die from my stash to cut it out to fit the top circle. Voila! Easy-Peasy!

The kit is a ton of fun to play with, but if kits aren't your thing---Crackerbox has you covered! You can purchase individual stamps, or different combos all in the shop. To see the Grinch selection click HERE.

That wraps up my post today, see you all again soon!

Rockn' Grinch Christmas Card

Hello friends, Martha Lucia here with you. Today, I just pop up to share a card with the Card Kit 18. This is a Rockin’Around the Christmas Tree Card using the Grinch collection stamps.

My card is a really simple card that features the Bib Overlay Kit. This shape of the card works great with the Grinch images. Today I am using some of the additional images released with the Card Kit 18 or Grinch Kit. The additional images are part of the Grinch Hand Set of 5 and/or Grinch Ornaments Set of 3.

I stamped the Grinch Face onto a green piece of card stock and die cut it with a circle from the never-ending nested dies. You can also use a circle punch to cut it. Then, I stamped the Grinch Hand onto White Smooth Card stock and colored it with TriBlend Markers from Spectrum Noir. Additionally, I fussy cut the Grinch Hand with scissors.

The Grinch Ornaments includes three different images, a glass of wine, a candy cane, and a heart. I stamped them onto white smooth card stock and colored them with TriBlend Markers. Also, I fussy cut the ornaments with scissors and set them aside for a while.

To complete my card, I stamped the sentiment Rockin’ Christmas Tree onto the red layer included on the Bib Overlay Kit with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Then, I pasted the layer directly over the card base and arranged all the individual stamped pieces over the card with crafting foam tape. And voila, my Rockin’Around the Christmas Tree Card is finished!

Candy Cane Coffee Cup Christmas Card

Happy Friday! Ericka here, and today I am sharing a fun coffee lover's Christmas card.

I started by stamping the Coffee Cup Heart stamp and masking the heart and instead used the Candy Cane. I used my Sharpies to color up my cup along with a little gray colored pencil on the cup. I love this pretty coffee cup and it is so easy to add another image to the cup. I cut out the cup and used glossy accents to add shine to my candy cane.

I had this fun Christmas paper in my stash and cut a strip of it to add to my card base. I added my cup with foam tape to the base. I then stamped the Eat, Drink, Thankful sentiment and white heat embossed it. To finish my card, I added some fun green gems.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful week.
