Clematis Doodle

It is official!

1) I am in love with the Clematis Doodle Stamp with the coordinating Doodle Leaf
2) I am having a BALL coloring
3) I found a new love in sequins!

I probably need some more practice at fussy cutting, but all in all I am quite pleased at how this card turned out!

Essentially, I stamped 3 Clematis flowers on scrap white paper.  I did 3 just in case I messed up and didn't like the colors.  I am still new to the whole alcohol markers so I was quite hesitant.  However, once I started I just couldn't stop!

Once I had the flowers fully colored, I cut them out and placed them on my white paper.  After I had them right where I wanted them, I stamped the leaves directly onto the paper.  (I was feeling quite confident at that point, but there was definitely a moment of fear!  I am a dork, I know.)

After the leaves were all colored, I stamped the Thank You sentiment, put Dimensionals on the back of the Clematis to pop them out a bit and added the sequins because the colors matched PERFECTLY!  The craziest part is I got them in AFTER I colored the Clematis.  Wild, huh?!

It wasn't necessarily a hard card to make, but the coloring does add in a time factor.  I also recommend using Micro Glue Dots for the sequins!  It made putting them on so much easier, along with the Pick Me Up tool.
