Happy Sparkly Skittles!

Pink Sherbet Skittles DoubleClick Connect
Pink Sherbet - Skittles
If you saw my post for our Feel Better Fairies, you saw for the first time on our blog DoubleClick Connection Skittles!  Aren't they just the prettiest?

I am a total sucker for fun embellishments and even more so for embellishments that are created by AMAZING people!

I actually found Carri at DoubleClick Connections from another crazy Instagrammer.  (Is that even a word?)  Anyway, there I was lying in bed at my mom's house in Arizona, NOT wanting to get up at the crack of dawn to go to the car dealership.  As any kick ass crafter will do at O-dark-thirty, I was doing "market research" on Instagram, when I stumbled across these fun little doo hickey's on Kymona's posts.  At this point, I decided to not only stalk Kymona, but I totally engaged her in spilling the beans on these colorful little gems.  Needless to say, before I was out of my jammies, I was buying a slew of Skittles.  (Kymona is quite the craft buying enabler so watch yourselves!)

I wish I could say that my stalking stopped there, but it didn't.  However, I am quite thankful that I wasn't the only "stalker" that day!  After stalking Kymona, I went straight over to stalking Carri at DoubleClick.  (Sorry, Kymona, you weren't the only person I was incessantly checking out that morning!)  After all of my creepiness, do you know who was also stalking me???  CARRI!

Here we were stalking each other and we finally decided to go for the gusto and just meet up so I could get my order! Because guess what?!  She lived 10 minutes from my mom!!  How snappy is THAT?!   To say we had a good time would be the understatement of the century!  Mom and I crashed Carri's house and stayed for ages and I came home with a new Stalker Bestie, a slew of Skittles AND some sparkly excitement that will be coming out super soon!

In case you missed it, here is one of the cards I have made using the Clover Skittles from DoubleClick Connections.  I love how they add dimension and sparkle to the card and they also seem like little floating bubbles!

You can see a lot more pictures, as well as the video on attaching the Skittles to your projects, on her Blog Gallery.

And if you are one of those people who do "market research" on Instagram and need help spending money and shopping before you get out of bed, feel free to "stalk" the crafty enablers on Instagram!

Until next time,
Happy Stamping!
