As a crafter, I tend to hold onto scraps of papers in the hopes that I can use them at some point. Since I wanted to focus on this wonderful sentiment - Be, I decided to create a unique background.
I cut an assortment of papers into triangles and inked the edges before aligning them on a cardstock panel. Once the background was finalized, I trimmed away the excess and matted it on cardstock before adding it to the card. The sentiment was stamped in black and matted with coordinating cardstock.
This is a fun technique and allows you to use whatever papers you have in your stash, and lets the sentiment shine.
Thanks for stopping by today.
