That Moment When...

Good morning everyone! Jennifer here from Caffeinated Papercuts to further encourage you to break out those watercolor techniques and join us for our March challenge.

I know not everyone has an actual set of watercolors at home, but there's a good chance you have some Distress Inks. These babies were made to react with water for some fun effects!

I went very CAS (clean and simple) today to make my tag the star of the show. To get those soft yet bold colors I took my pads of Distress Ink and smooshed it right onto my watercolor paper. Once the color was down, I soaked the paper with a mister bottle of water to make the color move and blend. Boom - instant watercolor background!

While it dried, I cut some kraft cardstock down to make an A2 top-folding card base, then trimmed the chevron paper down to 4"×5.25" and adhered it on top.

Once my watercolor paper was dry (you can speed this part up with a heat gun if needed) I die cut my tag shape and heat embossed my sentiment. And oh, what a sentiment!

I'm never wrong, but you never know when this may be needed... ;)

A little ribbon and foam tape and this card was done!
