Good morning everyone! Jennifer here with a cheery card celebrating spring.
We've been inundated with snow all winter, so the fact that it is finally melting and the days are getting warmer is fantastic. I created a little scene to show the snow & frost finally melting and new life beginning.
I stamped a bunch of the spring blooms on the bottom of my card in matching smoke ink to my cardstock, then stamped & fussy cut a bright yellow flower and a couple of leaves to pop on top. Brightness amid the melting snow.
I coated the yellow flower and leaves in clear Wink of Stella, then added some white Wink of Stella to the petals of the gray flowers like ice melting off the edges. I then selectively stamped the Incident Free sentiment and heat embossed it with platinum embossing powder.
Here's to spring, everyone! Don't forget that So Suzy Stamps can be found on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter. You should join us there and find more inspiration and fun!
