BOO....My Scary card!!!

Hello everyone, Martha Lucia here to play with you and my ghosts. Today I want to share a non scary card that I made using the Bare Tree Wide, one of my favorites stamps from the Halloween collection.

To create this card I used Elegant Eggplant card stock for the base and Whisper White for the second layer. Yes, you read that correctly... the second layer is whisper white with a little color variations thanks to the Distress Ink that I used to change the original color.

I inked all the whisper white layer with the weathered wood distress ink from Tim Holtz, I applied different color intensity over the layer to create this effect. Then I stamped on the center of the layer the Bare Tree Wide Stamp using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and I decorated some branches with a little white dots.

Around the branches, some little ghosts are dancing at the sound of the night. These ghosts are chipboards from Halloween collection of Unique Laser Designs that I inked with White Craft Ink and covered on back with basic black card stock to give color to their faces.

To finalize the card I made a rich bow using several thread in white and orange that I paste over the BOO word that I cut from a Moxxie Designer Paper using the collection Days of Dead and the Little Letters Thinlits from Stampin Up.

Now it is your turn to create a card for Halloween and with this you can participate in our Challenge HERE. You will have the opportunity to win a Gift Certificate from So Suzy Stamps and get the complete inspiration with the new products!

See you soon and remember this is a Non Scary Halloween!!!
