Dinos for Lunch

Hey everyone, it's Jen from Caffeinated Papercuts with a fun not-quite-a-card project for you. As many of you know, I have one rambunctious son, so whenever a new stamp comes out that I can use for him I might do a little happy dance. Imagine my excitement when we added two more dinosaurs to the herd this month!

This called for a celebration...and lunch box notes!

I love these guys! I simply chose a die cut frame that would fit them all, cut my Neenah Solar White with that, then mounted them to some teal backers when I was done. Lots of coloring but I tried to keep it simple and not be a perfectionist worry about little mistakes. Because really, my audience is a five year old here. The T-Rex is missing from the shot as he was first up in the lunch box this morning!

His kindergarten teacher is so sweet - if you send in a note, she'll help them read it. Well, my little dude is all about jokes at the moment, sooooo...

Anyone know some good dinosaur jokes? LOL

I'm thinking the Sea Critters are up next. I'd better stock up on jokes!

Other supplies - Copics, Spectrum Noirs, postage stamp die cut, bad jokes

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget about our "Thanksgiving/Fall" challenge. If you don't have a blog - you can still enter over at our Facebook group! For more inspiration be sure to check out So Suzy Stamps on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Flickr, Pinterest and Periscope.

  1. These are so cute, and what a great idea. I'm sure the whole class will love the jokes. ♥

  2. These are adorable, Jen! I'm going to send this link to my DIL for her to make notes for the twins. I think it's the sweetest idea and I wish I'd thought of it 30 years ago when my son was little!! Hugs, Darnell

  3. These are super adorable Jennifer! ^__^ <3 That's a really cool die too... makes them look like big postage stamps, which is awesome cos well they are dinosaurs!!! Also love the bright fun colors! *Big Panda Hugs*
