Well, today is my last day as the January
Guest Designer here at So Suzy Stamps.
I appreciate Suzy letting me play with some of her amazing products. It
doesn't take much to make me do the happy dance! Speaking of happy
dance.... this chic has to have her coffee. Every day, multiple times a
day. With that in mind, I thought it would be a great idea to focus on a
couple of Suzy's coffee stamps and feature them in my planner.
Yes, indeed, I was gifted a planner for
Christmas and it's a good thing, as my life is super busy these days and I
don't know how I'd function without it. One of my favorite days of the
week is Sunday. Not only is it a day of peace for our family, spending
time with our church family also, but almost every Sunday, I make a trip to our
local Starbucks for my Sunday fix. I've been meaning to do up my planner
with a coffee theme for Sunday and so here is my first coffee themed planner
project, using the Tall
Coffee Cup Stamp which is THE perfect size for my planner, and
the Lot of Coffee Sentiment.
This was super easy to do, with some
simple paper piecing of the cup, masking of the sentiment, coloring with just
one Tombow dual brush pen, and adding some planner stickers. I did those
tiny papers through my Xyron sticker maker for easier adhesive application and
fuller coverage. I also added some steamy swirls with a white gel
pen to the coffee.
I like lots and lots of cream in my java!
I hope you enjoyed this fun and quick
project. Have fun using these stamps in your planner and in your
cardmaking. They're going to get a LOT of use at my house.
Thanks again, Suzy, for having me!
