So Suzy Stamps with Suzy - YOU ARE HERE
For my first card on our Blog Hop, I decided to use Die-Namites Flower Vases in front of a Spring colored stencil! I was playing with my new Clarity Brushes with some of our Summer Solstice inks and it just looked so cheery, happy and reminded me of spring flowers. The Flower Vases die worked PERFECTLY placed on top of the brushed background and I had an instant flower arrangement!
- I used the Organic Matter Stencil on top of Whisper White Stampin Up paper
- Randomly brushed Wild Watermelon, Totally Turtle and Timeless Turquoise inks over it with my Clarity Brushes
- I wanted the Flower Vases to be a bit more substantial, so I used Bazzill Card Shoppe Licorice paper and ran it through my Big Shot a couple of times to get a nice clean cut.
- To adhere the Vases to my paper, I actually used a Scotch Spray Adhesive on the back and placed it on stenciled background.
- I cut a 2" strip of Whisper White paper and stamped Hello Crafty Friends on the bottom, taped it to the front of the card and wrapped some pink ribbon around it.
- Adhering the white 2nd layer to a Licorice 1st layer really made the black Flower Vases pop and Bazzill's Dotted Swiss Slipper paper matches our Wild Watermelon ink PERFECTLY!
It was a super easy and fun card to make and it just keeps that Spring Hope alive!
Thank you so much for stopping by and saying hello today and be sure and hop on over to see what the wonderful Martha has for you!
