Butterfly Tree

Hi, Henriette here. Welcome to the So Suzy Stamps blog!
Today I'm sharing a card in spring season colors. I've used two So Suzy Stamps for this card: blowing butterfly tree and spring time hugs.

First I stamped the butterfly tree stamp with versamark ink on watercolour paper and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.

I inked up a big acrylic block with spring colored (distress) inks, spritzed water on it and rubbed the wetted paper on the block.

I dried the paper with my heat gun and repeated this step a few times.

Once I was satisfied with the look I colored in some of the tiny butterflies with Stabilo Fineline markers.

Then I used a die cut from MFT to cut out a panel.

Using my mini misty I stamped the sentiment in the bottom left corner.
Finally I glued the panel on a top fold pink card.

This card makes you long for spring even more, doesn't it?
