For the background of my card I used the side bloom stamp, designed by our very own Olesya and for the sentiment I used the thinking of you stamp. I just love the different fonts used for this stamp.
First I've made the background by stamping the flower multiple times on a piece of watercolor paper.
I traced the outlines of the stamp with ranger distress markers and spritz some water on the stamp before I placed it on the paper. After drying the colored flowers I stamped again but this time with black ink.
I made the sentiment by stamping with versamark ink and heat setting it with white embossing powder on a piece of black paper.
Then I made the flower. It's made of foamiran. A product I just recently discovered and I LOVE to make flowers with it.
First I cut out four flowers from the foam using a paper template.
I've colored both sides of the flowers with yellow ink and purple chalk. The chalk is applied with a baby wipe.
With an iron (heat is set between 2 and 3 dots) the foam curls and you can make the leaves look like real flower leaves.
I made the stemens by cutting a long piece of foam and make it curl by holding it for a few seconds on the iron.
Using a glue gun I assembled the flower .
I wanted it to look a bit like the flower from Olesya's design.
Finally I've put the card together and added some skeleton leaves.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Hugs, Henriette.
